Inspired by the rich history of the most elegant street in downtown San Francisco, we have created a classic cocktail bar and revived its historical name, Iron Horse.

Originally opened in 1954 as Iron Horse Restaurant by famous Bay Area restaurateur Leo Giorgetti, “The Horse” was one of the city's top dining and drinking spots for over 20 years, long favored by celebrities and political figures.

In 2019 the bar was extensively refurbished and its classic mural walls retouched with an eye towards maintaining the original character of the establishment.

The sweetest sound in the world is when the bartender calls you by name….Please come in and let us learn yours.
